This guide has an item that is only obtainable at Chapter 7 and beyond. Screenshots and specific text will display spoilers, including visuals changes that occur during the story and the final chapter gate name.
What is the Small Key?
On Chapter 7, Shiroyabu will have new items for sale. One of them is the “Small Key” selling for a whopping 510,000 Emerald Flowsion.
Despite this already steep price, you will need around 550,000 Emerald Flowsion total to activate the reward.
The Reward and Activation
Once you buy the Small Key, open up DeadGear Cannon Ball, head to the bottom and ram into the grey wall. It will open up and you will be on the outer section of the maze.

Drive all away around until you reach the portal on the otherside and go through it.

You will now be in a section far below the initial map. Now you’ll need to keep going right.

It will seem endless, but after 30 seconds of boosting, you will reach another portal.

Going through that leads you to a final section.
Navigate through this final maze to get to the symbol at the end.

Exiting out DeadGear Cannon Ball gives you a Congratulations screen and your reward: “Bloody Summer Mania” Bloody Summer now no longer consumes Blood Charges.

Note about reward interactions with certain mechanics:You still need to build up the gauge if you want to Jump Dash or utilize 1%er badge. Resetting progress in DeadGear Cannon Ball also resets Bloody Summer Mania.
How do I farm Emerald Flowsion?
Farming Bastard seeds and then selling them by using multiple Stealjobs Bastards is by far the most efficient. If you lack the resources to do that, skip ahead to the other methods until you can do seed farming.
Seed Farming
Obtaining and leveling up Stealjobs
We will be utilizing the Stealjobs Bastards, which can only be obtained through rare grade Bastard seeds. If you don’t have the seeds either kill enemies until they drop one or buy it from the shop for 1000 Emerald Flowsation each. Then get them appraised by Luna and hopefully you should get a couple.
Once you have your Stealjobs, fuse them up until they reach Lv. 100 Item Rarity and success rate. Cooldown is not needed, but it will probably also reach max level naturally. Try to feed your higher rarities for later, the levels they give scale better compare to the lower ranks. Save beforehand, the liklihood of a fusion going wrong is low, but rarely 0.
The Grind
We will be abusing save points instantly refreshing Bastards when you interact with them. Any point with enemies nearby will do the job, I personally used the final level area of Subspace Hills – Area 2. The chapter 5 starting area is also great because the enemies are really easy to take out in case they disable the save point by actively attacking, though you can just spam at the savepoint and hope it becomes available.
Deploy your Bastards onto the enemies and they should be stealing an Epic level seed most of the time. Once you use all your Bastards, run back to the Space-Time Pharmacy and interact with it. Back out of the menu and your Bastards cooldowns will be reset to start the process again. (the following video is a demonstration in the chapter 5 starting area)

My suboptimal performance got around 12 Epic seeds per minute, an insane rate of 9,600 Emerald Flowsation per minute. (Do note that you can only steal one seed per enemy, so try to aim them or position Romeo closer to a different enemy per summon)
You can only hold 99 Epic seeds at a time, so be sure to go back to the shop and sell them before or at the point of the cap. DO NOT GET THEM APPRAISED BY LUNA, otherwise your seeds will be unsellable. You should have enough Emerald Flowsion after an hour or two of farming this way.
Badges to Equip
If you lack the funds to start farming, keep playing the game and equip these badges.
Chapter 2 Badge Magnetic Greenfields
Effect:Expands the Emerald Flowsion absorption area. Increases Emerald Flowsion absorption by 20%
Getting this badge is pretty easy, the path to get to it should naturally be unlocked by the time you are able to fight the boss.
Chapter 7 Badge Booger Baby
Effect: Increases Emerald Flowsion absorption by 51%. Renders you unable to recover HP with Bloody Summer.
Getting this badge is a bit involved. You will be taking fall damage, but health upgrades are not necessary since the damage scales with Romeo’s max HP.
- Travel to City Hall – 4F Mayor’s Office. Then go into subspace through the library television.
- On the left side of the area you start out on, you should see a green ball on a lower level.
- Make sure you are at least 5 cubes away from the corner and walk off, an invisible platform will appear.
- Walk off the platform to get to the green ball and solve it.
Now travel out of subspace and teleport back to the 4F Mayor’s Office. Go to the TV in the West hall to enter subspace.
You should be able to walk off onto a platform with an item.
Then be able to see another platform with an item and a purple tesseract. Jump over to the purple tesseract to get your badge.
Trials
Trials let you refight the bosses of each chapter with a bet. If you defeat the boss within the timelimit, your bet gets multiplied.
This is a decent option at the beginning to multiply the Emerald Flowsation you already have, assuming you are placing max bets, you should average about 1000 Emerald Flowsation per minute.
Since there is a cap to how much you can bet, consider this if you are short from buying another rare seed to get another Stealjobs or getting fusing experience for them.
At the very least try to complete the hard versions of each trial once anyways to get the badge rewards.
