Chapter 5 – Underground Blossom Walkthrough Guide

At Sorrow’s Cross, emotions run deep. You’ll begin this chapter with Laura and Bob. Tap Laura several times until she urges Bob to leave, mentioning his train at 4:00.

Lift the box beneath the bench to find a clock hand. Place it on the clock and turn the time to 4:00. Talk to Bob twice, then say goodbye as he boards the train.

Before he leaves, Bob drops his wallet. Pick it up to find a coin, some cash, and a business card from The White Door as a little Easter egg.

Go left and insert the coin into the vending machine. Select the 25, 35, and 40 options to make a total of 100 credits. Retrieve the snacks from the tray and sort them into the correct bags:

  • Animal-shaped snack -> into the dog-labeled bag
  • Food item -> into the raw food bag
  • Transport-related snack -> into the bicycle bag

Finish the sorting puzzle to get your Cookie Corn back. Feed the cookie to the pigeon, then rotate it clockwise twice to trigger the next event.

Now you’ll face a seed puzzle using yellow, red, and blue grains, as well as a rock.

  • Yellow = no jump
  • Red = jump 1 space
  • Blue = jump 2 spaces
    Arrange them so that the bird never lands on or eats rocks or empty cells. Once solved, the pigeon flies off.

Follow the pigeon across several screens. Eventually, it’s tragically hit by a train. Inspect the pigeon’s remains to find a key.

Head left and use the key to open the jail cell, where you’ll meet the man who once stole from you. He promises to return your items, just leave money under the bench and return at 9:00.

So, place the money in the bench box and set the clock to 9:00. Return to the box to find a paper bag and your iron saw.

With Laura nearby, use the saw to cut off the padlock on the cabinet and retrieve a painting panel. Turn to the large painting and insert the panel.

Solve the painting puzzle by matching the central circle piece with the correct outer segment. Find all 12 matches to complete it. Once done, the trash can tips over.

Inspect the contents of the trash and match items into logical pairs. After solving, read the envelope that appears and retrieve a pill from inside.

Return to Laura and give her the pill. After speaking with her, the environment will shift into a dark, surreal dream sequence.

Follow Laura’s emotional journey by placing the right objects into the hands of symbolic characters:

  1. Baby -> place in Rose’s hands
  2. Heart -> carry two screens and place near Bob
  3. Childhood memory -> ensure Laura holds hands with her mother
  4. Detective -> tap the figure on the left side
  5. Flower -> from Mr. Parrot to Laura
  6. Black cube -> give to Laura’s older mother

Eventually, Laura will hold her own cube. When she reflects on her mother’s fate, the dream ends. From Laura’s body, retrieve the metro ticket.

Nearby, find a portrait of Rose. Take the brush from next to Laura’s body and return to the pigeon’s remains to dip it in blood.

Back at the portrait, paint over Rose’s face with the maroon-colored brush. A time is revealed: 7:55.

Set the station clock to 7:55, hand your ticket to the conductor, and prepare to leave the station.
