Examine the revolver and load all six bullets into the cylinder. Use the revolver to shoot the alien. They retreat to the basement. Run out the back door into the forest.
Move the rock to find the net. Use the net to retrieve the baseball from the water. Throw the baseball twice to break the glass covering the map. Pick up a glass shard and the map.
Use the glass shard to open the backpack and take the pencil. Look at the clue with Roman numerals. Check the back of the map for faint Roman numerals. Use the pencil to make them visible.
Count the Roman numerals on both papers to figure out the lock combination: I=5, II=7, III=4, IV=6. Enter 5746 to open the gate.
Solve the Forest Puzzle by navigating to the exit at the top right of the map. The map updates as you explore. Avoid the Terror—running into it three times resets the puzzle.
The Terror is straight ahead, so go RIGHT instead. The Terror is now to the right again, so go UP.
Go RIGHT to grab the axe, then return the way you came. Go LEFT, use the axe to cut down the tree blocking the path, then cross it going UP.
Next, go RIGHT. Go UP and pick up the fishing rod, then return DOWN. Go LEFT, then UP. Use the fishing rod to catch a fish, then go back DOWN. Go RIGHT, then RIGHT again.
Feed the fish to the bear, then go RIGHT once more. At a dead end, going UP leads to another dead end, so go DOWN instead.
Go LEFT, then DOWN. Go RIGHT, then RIGHT again, and then UP. Go UP, then LEFT. Take the rope, and go back RIGHT.
Go UP, then LEFT again. Tie the rope to the tree branch to cross the gap. The Terror grabs Colin here.
You arrive at an auto repair shop. Grab the rag from the trash and check the phone. Find a sticky note with a clue and a key inside the change dispenser.
Use the key to open the icebox and wet the rag with melted ice. Use the wet rag to clean the dirty window and look inside. Notice the names Carl and Ron on the lockers.
Look at the locker door keypad. Using the phone book and sticky note, identify Ron Jacobs’ number as (301)700-5004. Ignore zeros, leaving 31754. Convert these numbers to letters (using phone keypad): CAGED. Enter this code to unlock the door.
Inside, grab the wrench, drill, sprockets, regulators, and bolt cutters. Use the bolt cutters to open a cabinet and get the oil filters.
Use the wrench to get the spark plugs and the drill to get the lug nuts. Examine the table, pick up the clipboard, place all parts on the table, and read the clipboard for instructions on placing items in slots.
Match the parts based on model numbers and clues: Oil Filter: 3440
- Sparkplug: 3520 (must be higher than oil filter)
- Sprocket: 3045 (starts with a lower number than it ends with)
- Regulator: 3169 (lower than oil filter, last digit matches lug nut)
- Lug Nut: 3059 (higher than sprocket, lower than regulator)
Add the correct parts to the bike. Solve the Bike Puzzle by arranging the parts on the grid, filling all spaces without gaps.
The bike is out of fuel. Pick up the bucket that fell from the shelf. Outside, the Terror is waiting. Fill the bucket with fuel, then pour it into the bike.
Open the garage door, ride the bike under the Terror, and escape to complete the chapter.
