AEM: First Contact – A complete Walkthrough

It is May 2nd, 1983, and you are playing as Commander Rex Wilder, sent to investigate a silent lunar research station. Start by opening the floor panel to collect the valve wheel, then inspect the mission log nearby. Use the control panel to the left of the airlock door to open it and move through.

Use the valve wheel to open the hatch, then reach inside and retrieve the coffee.

Go back and give the coffee to Julie. When it spills on the window above her, she hands you the kitchen keys so you can clean it up.

Return to the area where you found the coffee and use the keys to open the locked locker and drawer. Take the light bulb and the drawer handle.

Attach the drawer handle to the broken drawer, then open it and collect the paper sketch. Examine it carefully.

Open the left hatch, insert the light bulb, and take the cloth inside.

Go back to the window and use the cloth to clean the spilled coffee. Once the glass is clear, inspect the view and notice the strange ship docked at the station.

To suit up, examine the lock on the spacesuits and gather the code using the red notebook, the paper sketch, and the symbols on the station outside the window. Identify each numbered station section, match the visible symbols, convert them using the sketch values, and calculate the sequence to form the code 63954.

Go to the suits, tap on Wilder’s lock, enter 63954, and take the spacesuit.

Close the left door leading to the flight deck, then open the right door toward the station and move through.

Approach the computer terminal and press START to activate the robotic arm system.

Rearrange the modules so access paths align, placing the correct modules next to each other to form a route. Move through the modules to collect the blue and yellow keycards, then return to the terminal to reconfigure the layout.

Adjust the modules again to reach new areas, move through the aligned doors, and use the keycards to unlock restricted paths. Collect the white keycard from the chest and return to the computer.

Set up the final module arrangement and navigate through using the yellow and white keycards. Collect the pink keycard and unlock the final doors to complete the module puzzle.

When the Terror appears and attacks Adams, open the right door immediately and escape through it.

After the power goes out, inspect the room carefully. Examine the computers to collect power cores and locker keys while noting the planet stickers on each surface. Look at the window to collect another power core and identify additional planet symbols.

Use the locker keys to open both lockers. Take the ladder from the right locker, then inspect the left one to collect the drill and discover more planet stickers and a locked storage box.

Place the ladder down and use the drill to open the ceiling panel, then collect another power core. Use the drill on the crates to retrieve a star emblem, a note, and one more power core. Open the floor electrical panel and read the note.

Return to the left locker and use the star emblem to unlock the storage box. Take the final power core.

Insert all five power cores into the backup system on the floor to restore power.

Read the note again and adjust the orbital compass so Pluto, the planet farthest from the sun, is positioned in the southeast corner.

Examine the right computer and solve the grid password puzzle using the orbital compass and planet stickers to place the correct symbols.

Press CONTACT to speak with the remaining crew, then press OPEN DOOR and go through.

Guide Rex and Julie through the escape puzzle by moving them toward the green exit while hiding in gold-covered areas to avoid the Terror.

Move the boxes to uncover hidden symbols, pull the lever to open the panel, and take the glowing orb. Use the orb to reveal dark areas, then plug in the cable to close the doors and expose more symbols.

Use the symbol counts around the room to adjust the lock sliders correctly, then go through the opened door.

Open the drawer to take the dead battery, then move the chair to collect the alien tool.

Use the alien tool to open the charger and recharge the battery. Move the chair again, interact with the computer, and insert the charged battery.

Solve the password by pressing the buttons from the lightest substance to the darkest. Activate each entry to learn more about the aliens, then leave the room to trigger the cutscene.

Use the right terminal to close the right door, then use the left terminal to open the left door.

After Neil’s death, move toward the Terror, collect the locker handle, combine it with the hose, and use it on the Terror to break its grip.

When you are thrown out the window, solve the lower climb puzzle by dragging Rex and the Terror upward together, keeping the hose connection intact.

Complete the upper climb puzzle the same way to reach safety.

Back inside, locate all five fire extinguishers, then open the door and move through.

Head to the cockpit and use the right computer to solve the final password puzzle. Enter symbol combinations and adjust based on color feedback until the correct sequence is found.
