Chapter 3 of Trapmaker Returns takes place in Istanbul, where Kate has just landed at the museumm which is now closed. Chapter 3 Walkthrough – Trapmaker Returns
First off, arrive in Istanbul at the closed Museum of Antiquities and inspect the entrance area. Take the watch from the purple bag, collect the number button from the plant, examine the carving on the tree, and notice the keypad next to the door.
Next, place the missing button into the keypad and read the clue at the top. Check the watch and use the keypad symbols, the tree carving, and the clock face to build the code.
Set the first number as 1, read the second symbol as 8 because it is two mirrored ones, read the third as 3 because it is the one symbol with a small w, read the fourth as 8 again, and read the last as 2 because it is the one symbol with a small u.
Then enter 18382 into the keypad and go inside the museum.
After that, talk to the curator and learn that Trapmaker was expected under the name Ramek Part to install a translation computer. Move all the book piles aside, take the antique bellows, inflate the flat wheel on the dolly, and go back outside.
Next, roll the dolly to bring the crate inside, then take the scimitar and cut the straps off the crate. Remove the stack of books the curator was blocking and reveal the locked closet behind it.
Open the closet by reading the color bars on the lock from white to black, count the sides as three, six, eight, and four, enter 3684, and take the extension cords. Plug the cords into the large computer.
Then notice the computer overheating and go outside to take the insulated cat food bag. Place the bag by the bowls to feed the cats and take the ice packs from inside.
After that, place the ice packs on the computer to cool it down and wait for the translation to finish. Take the glass case key from the curator and open the case to collect the old book.
Next, discover that the computer is a bomb blocking the door and have Allie take the purple binder manual. Open the access panel and inspect the wiring inside.
Solve the wiring puzzle by connecting the called-out wire pairs to the correct ports, removing them after they flash green, completing fifteen correct connections, and making fewer than three mistakes.
After that, let Kate and Allie split up, collect the hair dye, nail scissors, and coin, open the bathroom door, and go inside.
Pick up the bobby pin, dye Kate’s hair with the dye, then inspect the old book and unlock it with the bobby pin. Let Allie in when she appears at the door.
Search Allie’s bag and take the burner phone and the packaged SIM card. Flip through the book to find the map and leave it for later.
Use the nail scissors to cut open the SIM card package, power on the burner phone, insert the SIM card, and wait for the SIM code prompt.
Flip the plastic packaging pieces over to view both sides, scratch the strip at the bottom with the coin, count five apples, one star, seven tulips, and two palm trees, and enter 5172 into the phone.
Answer Murphy’s call, choose any dialogue about Allie being safe and Orda’s Veil, then hang up.
Finally, go back into the bathroom, take the pregnancy test from Allie, inspect it to confirm she is pregnant, tap the bathroom door again to comfort her, and complete the chapter.
