With no doubt, I’m a big fan of Strange Case 3 series and have followed the developer’s social handle on X platform to get to know when the game will release. Now, more than 1 month has been passed since its release, I got a chance now to play the game and share my experience so you can solve the puzzles and unfold the story.
Let me quickly introduce the storyline filled with puzzles, special intrigue, and danger. The plot starts where it was left off in Strange Case 2, it seems excited – the continual of the story where you follow the trail of a supernatural while revealing dark secrets of a haunted place fully loaded with terror and tragedy. A train is about to leave the station but only stopped for you to join and face off a series of mind-bending challenges.
Strange Case 3 Walkthrough
During the game, every train cabin you discover is about to track a new lock, reveal hidden compartments, and more. It has six amazing chapters and for sure, you would love to see how each one concludes.
Chapter 1: The Beginning
- At the start, you need to collect the letter available near the door.
- Look for the letter opener on the table and pick it up.
- Now, place the letter on the table and use the letter opener to open it.
- Open the letter and remember the phone number written inside.
- Go to the telephone and dial this number:
- After that, pick up the hat near the sofa and the coat from the hanger.
- Walk up to the mirror. First, put on the coat, then wear the hat.
- Now you’re ready, go outside to continue.
Chapter 2: The Train Station
- Head over to the train station.
- Tap on the signboard two times to reveal a puzzle.
- You’ll now solve a sliding puzzle. Follow the steps shown on screen or the example image.
- Once the puzzle is complete, take the lucky pound that appears.
- Read the note placed nearby.
- Now go back twice to return to the main area.
- Speak to the train conductor and buy a ticket.
- Talk to him again and agree to start your journey.
Chapter 3: The Haunted Carriage
- Look around and collect two picture pieces scattered in the scene.
- Switch to ghost vision and pick up the third picture piece.
- Combine the three pieces and place them on the painting.
- Complete the painting puzzle.
- Switch back to normal mode and pick up the record nearby.
- Go back to ghost vision and place the record on the player.
- While the music is playing, grab the pillow and the tooth.
- Use the pillow and then click on the suitcase.
- Insert the tooth into the lock and press the button with four dots.
- Take the enchanted tooth and place it on the table.
- Turn off the music, then click the table again.
- Count the dots on the teeth and place the lucky pound on tooth number 16.
- Tap the teeth until the right one activates and gives you a wheel.
- Give the wheel to the train conductor and move to the right.
Chapter 4: Doors and Symbols
- Pick up the handle from the floor.
- Look at the note and remember these symbols:
- Switch to ghost vision and use the handle on the device.
- Set the symbols in order: E, D, F, then move the F-shaped symbol to the top.
- Step into the portal.
- Walk through the doors in this order:
- E
- D
- F
- Click on the stack of papers to play a mini-game.
Try to create 4 crosses in a row and block the monster from doing the same with circles. - After winning, take the pencil.
- Switch to normal mode and use the pencil to complete the broken picture.
- New symbols appear: X, F, I.
- Go back to ghost vision and set the symbols to match.
- Enter the new portal and go through the doors in this order:
- X
- F
- I
- Play the stone-jumping mini-game until you meet the ghost girl.
- Read the note left behind, new symbols: M, X, Y.
- Enter the portal again and walk through these doors:
- M
- X
- Y
- Now place the items on the scales as shown in the picture.
Tap the screen multiple times to break it. - Click the doll, take the key, and use it to open the next area.
Chapter 5: The Cocktail Room
- Pick up the coffee grinder.
- Give the lucky pound to the bartender to get a lemon.
- Check the board to see you’ll also need to give an apple and a tomato.
- Take the empty glass.
- Switch to ghost vision and click the shelf to pick up the garden trowel.
- Solve the box puzzle nearby:
- Press the buttons in this order:
3, 6, 7, 1
7, 1, 1, 7
1, 7, 6, 6
3, 9, 8, 3
3, 9, 1, 9 (repeat 4x)
8, 9, 9, 3
3, 1 (press 7 times), 3, 3
1 (press 5 times)
- Press the buttons in this order:
- After solving, take the seed of evil and golden key.
- Use the golden key to unlock a small box and get an egg.
- Place the egg in the middle nest.
- Use the garden trowel to plant the seed of evil in the pot and cover it.
- Switch to normal mode and press the sun icon on the jukebox to change to summer.
- In ghost vision, take the apple.
- Switch back to normal mode and give the apple to the bartender to receive an olive.
- Go back to ghost mode and give the olive to the middle bird to get a jukebox button.
- Install the jukebox button, press it to change the season to winter.
- In ghost mode, use the empty glass to collect snow.
- Take the bones from the nearby nest.
- Return to spring and use the snow glass to melt it.
- Switch to summer and collect a glass of water.
- Switch to spring again and pour the water on the seed.
- Back in summer, pick up the tomato and give it to the bartender to get a Bloody Mary.
- In ghost vision, use the coffee grinder to crush the bones and ear, then mix them to make fertilizer.
- Use the trowel to apply the fertilizer and bury the seed again.
- Use the Bloody Mary to finish the growth process.
- Switch to summer one more time and take the strange key.
- Use the strange key to unlock the door and move forward.
Chapter 6: Final Puzzle and Ending
- Click the remote and press the red button.
- Pull the lever to activate the machine puzzle.
- Solve the puzzle by pressing the buttons in the correct sequence.
- If you make a mistake, just pull the lever again to reset.
- Once completed, take the pipe piece.
- In ghost vision, talk to the train conductor to get the cabin key.
- Use the cabin key, then place the pipe piece.
- Go back to normal mode and solve the valve puzzle:
- Turn all valves until the arrows point to the green marker.
- Next, solve the ball maze puzzle:
- Use the first lever to move the ball up/down.
- Use the second lever to move the ball left/right.
- Complete the maze and talk to the final character.
