In every single level, you are put in a one-of-a-kind location which includes terrifying mansions, enchanted islands, secret spies’ laboratories, and ancient temples. Your mission? Traverse the environment, search for hidden objects, unlock the intricate puzzles, and in the end, unlock the door to escape. But with each chapter having its own challenges, it is common to get stuck or miss an important detail.

Level 1 Walkthrough

This is where this all-levels guide is useful. We have put together an all-inclusive walkthrough for each episode of Tricky Doors so you can smoothly progress through the game without skipping vital solutions or items. This guide is your perfect accomplice whether you are hopelessly trapped in the game or simply in need of a gentle push.

1. Getting Started in the House

• Pick up a key hidden with balls near the treasure box and grab a broom on its right side.
• Tap the mask above the treasure chest to collect a red gem from its eyehole.
• Use the broom to clean cobwebs near the right side of the fireplace. This reveals a second key.

2. Explore the Trapdoor Area

• From the floor near the trapdoor (left side), collect a candle and a handle.
• Get a figured key from the fireplace.
• Retrieve a ritual knife and potion recipe. Use the knife to cut a rope.
• Pick up a doll and a key with monograms.

3. Open the Trapdoor

• Use all collected keys to unlock the trapdoor and climb to a new outdoor scene.

4. Tool Crafting and Resource Gathering

• From a half-cut tree, collect an axe blade. Use the ritual knife to carve a handle and assemble the axe.
• Get feathers and wooden logs for firewood.
• Gather berries from bushes and birch bark using the knife.

5. Red Fire Area

• Collect another handle near the stone, an arrow from the rock, and an empty cauldron by chopping a tree.
• Use rope, the handle, and the cauldron at the well to fetch water and find a key.

6. Perform a Fire Ritual

• Light the candle at the Red Fire and store it.
• Do the same with the doll to scare away a snake and reveal a hidden gem.

7. Treasure Box Mini-Game

• Insert the new gem into the treasure box to activate a puzzle mini-game (align red and green diamonds).
• Once completed, receive a stick and net.

8. Red Fire Area Revisited

• Fishing: Use the net to pull out a muddy treasure box from water. Cut seaweed and unlock it to get a bottle.
• Apple and Mushrooms: Use the bow to get an apple. Cut mushrooms from the right side.

9. Potion Preparation

• Return to the wooden house. Follow the Potion Recipe:
  • Add mushrooms, birch bark, seaweed, lily, and water into the cauldron.
  • Light the fire with the candle, place firewood.
  • Dip an arrow-tipped apple into the boiling mix to transform it.

10. Owl Sequence and Crystal

• Tap owls and memorize the light sequence: Red, Red, Green (x7), Red.
• Go to the lake statue, insert the red gem, and replicate the light pattern to unlock a crystal.

11. Crystal & Bottle World

• Use the crystal to illuminate the table.
• Insert the apple into the bottle to enter the fantasy bottle world.

12. Inside the Bottle

• Use the axe to clear cobwebs and find a handle.
• Build a Sharp Tool using an insect sting, handle, and rope.
• Use it to get a Nymph, a stamp, and reveal a mini-game.
• Solve the sliding puzzle to get a Golden Spatula.
• Use it to dig up a Bulb and remember a stone pattern.

13. Red Light Area Puzzle

• Tap temples in this order to extinguish fire:
  1. Upper left
  2. Lower right
  3. Lower left
  4. Upper right
• Use the Spatula to plant the bulb in the ash pot and grow a Flower of Insight.

14. Unlock the Book

• Return home, place the flower on the table to unlock the book.
• Get the Ink Recipe, Amulet, and a key.

15. Free the Blind Bird

• Use the Amulet to unlock the birdcage outside.
• Feed the flower to the bird to release it and get a Blind Bird’s Feather.

16. Magic Ink Creation

• Attach the Ink Recipe near the weight machine.
• Use the key to open the cabinet above and collect three jars.

17. Inside the Bottle World (Again)

• Collect:
  • Dew from the white flower
  • Pollen from another flower
  • Orchid Juice by cutting a branch with the knife

18. Solve the Ink Puzzle

• Use the weight machine to pour correct amounts into bowls:
  • Green (2)
  • Pink (7)
  • Blue (6)
  • Orange (5)
  • Light Green (4)

Once done correctly, you obtain Magic Ink, pushing you one step closer to escaping the magical world of the book.
