Tutorial.Games publishes guides you can follow with the game open: walkthroughs, tutorials, tier lists and the patch news that changes them.
Why we exist
Most game guides go stale the week a patch lands. Ours carry the version they were tested on at the top of the page, and when a developer ships an update that changes a route, a build or a setting, we re-test the guide and mark the date it was updated.
Editorial standards
- Tested, not summarised. Guides and tutorials are checked on the version named in the byline.
- Primary sources. Patch details, dates and mechanics link to official patch notes, developer and publisher sites, store pages, official wikis and reference sources such as Wikipedia.
- Official imagery only. Screenshots and key art are assets released by the developer or publisher, credited in each caption. We do not use AI-generated images.
- Official video and posts. Embedded trailers and posts come from the developer's or publisher's own channels, and older clips are dated in their captions.
- Clearly labelled opinion. Tier lists are opinion backed by play and balance notes, and always name the patch they apply to. Unconfirmed information is labelled as such.
- Corrections. Spot a mistake? Tell us through the contact form and we will fix it and note the update date.
The team
Jonas runs the guides desk at Tutorial.Games. He replays every route, build and boss strategy on the current patch before it goes up, and re-checks it when the developer ships a balance update. Soulslikes, co-op action games and anything with a build planner.
Ana writes the step-by-step tutorials: settings, controls, configs and the systems games never explain properly. Every tutorial is tested on the version named at the top of the page, with the official patch notes linked so you can check what changed.
Priya covers patches, updates and announcements for Tutorial.Games, working from developer patch notes, publisher newsrooms and official channels only. If a change affects one of our guides, she flags it to the guides desk the same day.
Kai edits the video tutorials and tier lists. Rankings are built from hands-on play on the current version and the developer's own balance notes, and every list states the patch it was made for so you know when it is out of date.
