Apex Legends Marked Split 2 Patch Notes: What Changed Today
Apex Legends Marked Split 2 patch notes: Conduit, Fuse and Catalyst buffs, Axle nerfs, more healing loot, new anti-cheat and what to do first today.
Split 2 of Apex Legends: Marked (Season 30) starts on September 15, 2026, and Respawn published the full Marked Midseason Patch Notes on EA's site a day earlier. There is no new map or Legend. This is a tuning pass: four Legend buffs, two nerfs carried over from the August 25 hotfix, a loot correction, three long-range weapon buffs and more than 150 map fixes.
01Anti-cheat now targets controller hardware and software on every platform
Before any balance changes, Respawn says it has implemented "significant, new systems" to detect unauthorized controller hardware or software on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch 2, after several months of validation. Players who trigger the detections "will be actioned upon and may be banned accordingly upon review," and the notes state plainly that playing on console does not exempt you.
02Legend buffs: Conduit, Fuse, Catalyst and Bloodhound
Conduit gets the Energy Barricade refresh promised in the Season 29 designer's notes. The Ultimate fires faster, jammers spawn higher, activate significantly faster and can be toggled into a forward line while aiming, and indicators turn red if jammers would break. Both old Level 2 upgrades (Battpack and Bigger Jam) are gone, replaced by Concurrency (refire the Ultimate once within 10 seconds, with two fewer jammers) and Jammed Up (25% larger jammer radius and a 10-second HUD jam on enemies they damage).
Fuse gets the deepest rework. He now has 25% explosive damage resistance and sees ordnance within 30m at base, and Knuckle Jump is part of his base kit, though with less jump power and no cooldown refund. The Motherlode raises and lands faster with less damage falloff. Knuckle Jumper and Wreckless are removed, Reignition moves to Level 2 with a slower recharge, Pyro Techniques doubles its flame radius, and two Level 3 upgrades arrive: Big Bang (50% larger Knuckle Cluster explosions) and Sticky Bomb.
Catalyst gets quality-of-life players have asked for: placing Piercing Spikes on a door now reinforces or rebuilds it automatically, her Tactical cooldown falls from 20s to 15s, spikes are taller and the projectile itself deals damage. Allies are no longer slowed or blinded by Dark Veil, and she is no longer immune to other Catalysts. The new Level 3 Ferro-Frenzy adds one extra spike that is 50% smaller but ticks damage faster.
Bloodhound keeps the August 25 hotfix changes and adds sonar snapshots that fade faster and disappear sooner once you see the tracked player.

03Axle and Seer nerfs are now official
The nerfs are not new if you played after the August 25 hotfix, but they are now documented. Axle's Kickstart drone drops from 200 to 150 HP, its base cooldown rises from 90s to 120s, and the stun falls from 1.5s to 0.25s. Her Nitro Gate launch speed goes from 750 to 700, and Jump Gate is replaced by a Drone Deployer upgrade that restores the 90s cooldown. Seer's Tactical no longer slows your turning when it hits you.
04More healing, fuller bins and three long-range weapon buffs
Respawn admits the Season 30 loot rework overshot: "Healing was becoming scarcer than intended, and due to the removal of energy ammo, the other ammo types were spawning ammo boxes at higher rates than intended." The fix adds healing and slightly trims ammo in the early pool, fills reset bins with more items and makes empty bins far less likely. Weapon Assist, which applies to the first bin you open while carrying no weapons, can now roll every base weapon instead of only pistols, shotguns and the Alternator.
| Change | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Triple Take blue magazine | 8 | 9 (plus faster ADS fire rate) |
| Bocek arrow stockpile | 40 | 60 |
| Bocek explosive arrows per energize | 7 | 10 |
| Charge Rifle max-distance damage (over 200m) | 99 | 110 |
| Charge Rifle selectfire damage penalty | 40% | 25% |
| Executioner Hop-Up unlock cost | 375 | 275 |
The Corrupted Agile Standard Stock also no longer stacks with Maggie's Warlord's Ire, her Gunrunning upgrade or Gibraltar's Fast Shotties.

05Maps, Mixtape and the ranked ladder schedule
Pubs and Ranked rotate World's Edge, Olympus and Broken Moon. World's Edge takes the bulk of the 150-plus map fixes, including a closed terrain hole and new cover at East Village. Mixtape runs Fragment, Skull Town, Monument and Estates for TDM and Gun Run, and Production Yard, Labs, Barometer and Caustic for Control from September 15 to November 3. Wildcard rotates Kings Canyon, Olympus and District, and EVO earned with no weapon equipped now carries over to the first gun you pick up.

The notes also list six Ranked Ladders "coming later this split," one per week from September 22 to November 1. Respawn has not detailed the ladder format in the patch notes, so treat anything beyond those dates as unconfirmed for now.
06What's next: Apex Legends VS Street Fighter 6 on September 22
On launch day the official Apex Legends channel revealed the split's first event. According to EA's own trailer description, the Apex Legends VS Street Fighter 6 Event drops September 22 and brings the fighting styles of Ryu, Chun-Li, Akuma and Dhalsim into Wildcard on a remixed Olympus, along with 8 Legend skins, Street Fighter 6 weapon skins and a Hadoken Mythic Universal Melee.
07What to do first in Split 2
- Re-learn Fuse in the Firing Range. Base Knuckle Jump, faster Motherlode and a new upgrade tree change how he plays more than any other Legend this patch.
- Try Conduit's Concurrency. Two barricades inside 10 seconds give you far more ways to block a push.
- Stop over-packing ammo. Early ammo is slightly scarcer and heals are more common, so rebalance your inventory toward healing.
- Retest long range. A 110-damage Charge Rifle and a nine-round Triple Take deserve a look on World's Edge and Broken Moon.
- Read the Marked Midseason Designer's Notes for the reasoning behind each change, then grab the update on Steam, the Xbox Store or your platform of choice.
