League of Legends Patch 26.19: Every Champion Change Today

Riot Games shipped League of Legends Patch 26.19 on September 22, matching the mid-cycle rhythm the studio has used all season, with Worlds 2026 now close enough that most of the balance work targets pro-relevant picks rather than a full rebalance. Eleven champions got stronger, six got weaker, and the patch also opens a new stretch of League Classic content and four new skins.

01Champion Buffs: Aatrox, Aphelios and Nine Others Get Stronger

The buff list leans toward champions Riot says had fallen out of the pro and high-elo conversation. Aatrox's W cooldown drops across every rank and his E lifesteal ratio climbs from 1.1% to 1.3% per 100 bonus health, giving him more sustain in extended trades. Aphelios picks up damage and utility across four of his five weapons, and Fiora's ultimate heals for more per tick and at a higher cap.

Elise, Lillia, Lucian, Master Yi and Volibear round out the buff list. Lucian's passive on-hit damage shifts from a flat 15 (plus 20% AD) to 5 (plus 15% AD), pushing his power later into fights, while his Q base damage rises across every rank.

02Nerfs Target Nasus, Nocturne, Poppy, Rumble, Ryze and Vi

Ryze takes the heaviest hit of the patch. His Q Flux damage drops from a 25-100% scale to 15-90%, and his E mana cost rises at every rank, aimed squarely at his early-game poke in the mid lane matchup. Nocturne's ultimate cooldown increases by 20 seconds at every rank, softening how often he can force a pick, and Poppy's jungle clear slows as her Q's minion and monster damage cap falls by 15 at each rank.

Rumble's Overheat passive loses attack speed at both ends of its range but gains a higher monster-damage cap, a trade meant to pull him away from pure duelist builds and back toward jungle clearing. Nasus loses Q bonus damage across the board, and Vi's early attack damage and passive shield both shrink slightly.

03Support Items and Top Lane Teleport Both Get Retuned

World Atlas and Runic Compass, the two early support items, trade flat health for health regeneration: base health drops from 30 to 0 while regen jumps from 25% to 50%, a change Riot frames as helping melee supports who trade in extended fights more than ones who poke and disengage. Top lane Teleport cooldowns also come down, with the standard version falling from 420 to 390 seconds and the Unleashed upgrade dropping to a 300-210 second range, making split-push swaps a little more frequent for the rest of the season.

04League Classic Adds Fizz, Graves, Nami and Nautilus

League Classic, Riot's rotating mode built around older champion models, animations and item sets, grows to include Fizz, Graves, Nami and Nautilus with this patch. Three retired items return alongside them: Cloak and Dagger, Moonflair Spellblade and Zz'Rot Portal. Riot also patched a handful of Classic-specific bugs, including misaligned Overview, Abilities and Skins tabs on Classic champion profiles and a Release Date sort that wasn't sorting consistently in the Classic Store.

05Coven and Old God Skins Arrive With Arena Augment Changes

Coven Janna, Coven Mel, Old God Anivia and Old God Urgot went live on September 23, a day after the balance patch itself, each with a full chroma line. Janna's version leans into the Coven theme's raven-winged, blood-red aesthetic that's carried the line since its debut, while Anivia and Urgot pick up the Old God set's more monstrous, ancient-deity redesign.

Arena also picks up new augments this patch, including Death Dealer, which sends a target champion into a temporary Death Realm with brief invisibility, and Got That Dog In Em, a chaos augment that spawns hot dogs which grant a damage-over-time breath effect to whoever eats one. Both were built with input from streamers who play the mode regularly, and they join the existing augment pool rather than replacing anything.

06Team Voice Pushed Past Patch 26.20

Riot also used the patch notes to confirm that Team Voice, the in-client voice chat feature it's been testing, won't land in Patch 26.20 as some players expected. The studio said it wants more testing time to clear its quality bar before a wider rollout, without giving a new target patch. With Worlds 2026 approaching, expect the next few patches to stay similarly light on systemic changes and focused on the champions pros are already picking.
